News24 is an online news site owned by the Naspers Group, South Africa. The site features South African and African news, World news, Politics, Sport, Motoring, Health and Entertainment news. The design is a no-nonsense news site, with the emphasis on content rather that aesthetics. News sources are Sapa and Reuters, with teams of reporters, sub-editors and editors working shifts on a 24 hour bases.
Extensive back-end programming was involved for the implementation of the Vignette StoryServer, to manage the workflow and articles submitted by the editorial team, and development by the programming team. Additional services offered by News24 include SMS, WAP (News24 is avaliable on your handheld), and a Voice Portal.
A redesign of the entire site was recently completed using CSS in order to enhance download speed. |

Scorched Earth is a site commissioned by News24 to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the Anglo Boer War. The purpose of the site is to provide background information and historical facts.
The site is run on Vignette StoryServer. All animated buttons were also designed by SpiralArt.

Amakrokokroko is the official website for the South African Paralympic Team to the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. Design requirements included organising a large amount of data into clear and concise elements for ease of understanding by the end user.
Live updates, a forum, and email facilities were implemented so that fans could keep up-to-date with the latest results as well as send letters of encouragement to the participating sportsmen and women.
